Player to watch:
Spruce Kings: As the only player on the current roster this season with a goal against the Bulldogs, Braiden Epp will be searching for his first goal since a few weeks ago in a late goal against the Surrey Eagles. In the last 10 games, Epp has one goal and one assist. Leading the team in points, Matt Stief has been a steady performer all season long. He had one assist last night on the power play, and is now up to 18 helpers on the man advantage which is tied for 9th in the league. In the game against Alberni earlier this year, Stief had a pair of assists.

Bulldogs: In his last 12 games Ryan Finnegan has picked up 12 points. Alberni Valley has treated Finnegan well, as he has 17 points in 26 games compared to seven points in 22 games prior with the Merritt Centennials. This will be his first game against the Spruce Kings as a member of the Bulldogs. The first time these two teams mean, Paul Meyer led the way with one goal and one assist in the eventual 3-2 OT win. The defender has four power play goals, and leads Bulldog blueliners with 34 points.
